8 Installing the Receiving Modules
Prepare to install the Maxi Sky 2 Transportable into the Receiving Module
Before proceeding with the installation of the
Maxi Sky
2 Transportable into the receiving
module, complete the conversion of your
Maxi Sky
2 unit. To do so, refer to the specific
Conversion Guide corresponding to the type of
Maxi Sky
2 used. Either refer to the ECS
Conversion Guide or to the C-Stat Conversion Guide.
This step should be taken when the
Maxi Sky 2 Transportable has to be transported from one
room to another.
Locate a stepladder and bring it to the room where the
Maxi Sky 2 Transportable will be taken
out of the receiving module:
1) Remove the spreader bar connected to the
Maxi Sky 2 Transportable strap; (Fig. 8)
2) Bring the strap up to remove it out of the way
and hook the remote to the strap, as shown,
to reduce risk of tripping when climbing up
the stepladder; (Fig. 9)
3) Turn off the power of the Maxi Sky 2
Transportable by pulling the emergency stop
out and look for the green light LED indicator
to shut down; (Fig. 10)
Install/Remove Maxi Sky 2 Transportable
WARNING: Failure to properly remove strap and remote out of the way may increase risks of
injuries.
