Construct compass from sections of brass
aluminum or paper tubing. Laser cut base plate
and lense are included in the laser cut package.
Stain and varnish to finish.

WARM UP THE ENGINE FOR 4 MINS.
AND THEN NOT MORE THAN 10 SECS. AT FULL THROTTLE
CHECK OIL PRESSURE NORMAL 40 - 45 LBS. MINUMUM
35 LBS.NEVER USE THE MIXTURE CONTROL TO CAUSE A
DROP IN THE RPM. MINIMUM RPM 1000-2000 NORMAL 2200
MAX PEREMISSABLE FOR NOT MORE THAT 5 HRS 3500

Make instrument bodies from
rolled strips of aluminum lithoplate
or strips of manila folder paper.
Paint the inside flat black to finish.
Brass or aluminum tube sections
can be substituted for the lithoplate
however the edges of the laser cut
parts will need to be sanded to reduce
the diameter slightly. Use bent wire
or pins painted white to simulate the
dial indicators.
Assemble with white glue only CA will
fog the plastic.

Instrument bodies can be made from tubing or rolled sections of card stock.
DO NOT assemble with CA White Glue Only.
Instrument Assembly
1) Roll into tube using the crystal and face.
2) Glue the paper together into a cylinder.
3) Remove the crystal and face and paint the
cylinder flat black.

4) When dry place the crystal, face, and indicator
(if used). Secure in place with WHITE GLUE.
5) Trim remainder of tube and install in the dash.

General Arrangment
