Final Assembly...
Install the control surfaces in place and install your radio. Mount the engine, throttle linkage,
fuel tank and fit the cowl to the fuselage. Now would be a good time to install the wheels
to the landing gear and then attach the wings to the fuselage. Check that the control surfaces
are moving in the correct direction. Check and make sure that the airplane is balanced correctly
and adjust as needed.
Flying!!!
If you have never flown a radio controlled model before, do not attempt to fly this
airplane by yourself. Get the help of an experienced pilot! If you do not know any,
get in touch with your local radio control airplane club for assistance!!!
Check that everything is attached properly and that the control surfaces are moving in the
correct directions. Also, check the balance one more time before flying. Once you are
satisfied, start up the engine, taxi out onto the runway and get it into the air! The Tiger Moth
is a great flying airplane and you will find that it is a very gentle flying airplane, also.
Finally...
We hope that you have enjoyed assembling the DeHavilland Tiger Moth and that you will
have many great flights with it. If you have any questions or suggestions,
we would like to hear from you.
Smooth Landings!!!
