Capped Rib Preparation:
Lay out the ribs after an initial sanding in a
similar arrangement as shown. Attach the
vertical webbing one side at a time.
( shown in the diagram is a typical
arrangement, refer to appropriate
scale documentation for your model on
specific locations) Trim the ends of the
webs and turn the rib over, apply the
webbing to the other side. Attach the top
and bottoms caps after trimming to length.
Make sure you take in to account the
attachment of the leading and trailing edges,
leaving an overhang if necessary. Sand the sides
prior to assembling if necessary.
Note: depending on the width of the finished
rib cap you may need to raise the rib slightly
to center oversized cap strips.

Rib Webbing Positions (Typical)
To take advantage of the wire trailing edge giving your model
a true scallop begin covering the model from the underside of
the rear of the wing. Attach the fabric as shown going around
the leading edge and back to the rear. Overlap and attach the
material to itself on the underside
