Heat pump water heater
4.8 Anti-bacteria function
The electronic control of the NUOS water heater automatically runs the anti-bacteria function, which consists in a water
heating cycle at 65
°
C for the duration necessary to avoid germs from developing in the water tank and piping. The
first cycle begins 3 days after the product is switched on. Subsequent cycles are performed every 30 days (provided
the water has not been brought to 65
°
C at least once during the same period of time). When the product is switched
off, the anti-bacteria function is disabled.
To deactivate/activate this function, press the "MODE" button and hold for 3 seconds while the appliance is operating.
Set “Ab 0” (to deactivate the function) or “Ab 1” (to activate the function) using the “SET” knob and confirm the setting
by pressing the same knob. The function is deactivated/activated when the product returns to the normal operating
mode.
The ECO HP (4) button flashing while "Ab" appears on the DISPLAY (10) signals that the anti-bacteria protection cycle
is running.
