CAUTION
Before carrying out any work, disconnect
the power supply using the external bipo-
lar switch.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
For increased safety, ask a qualifi ed
technician to perform a thorough check of
the electrical system.
The manufacturer is not responsible for
any damage caused by the lack of a suitable
earthing system or by the malfunctioning
of the electricity mains supply. Ensure
that the electrical system can provide the
maximum power required by the module
(as shown on the data plate). Ensure that
the wires have a suitable cross-sectional
area of at least 1.5 mm
2
.
Proper connection to an effi cient earthing
system is essential for ensuring the safe
operation of the device.
The power supply cable must be connected
to a 230 V-50 Hz network, while observing
the L-N poles and ensuring connection to
earth.
H05 V2V2-F
Important!
Connection to the electricity mains supply
must be performed using a fi xed connection
(not with a mobile plug), equipped with a
bipolar switch with a minimum contact
opening of 3 mm.
Solar control unit connections
The following steps must be performed:
1.
Remove the control unit cover by
loosening the four front screws.
2. Insert the cables using the core hitches,
separating the low voltage connections
(N1, N2, BUS) from the high voltage
ones (OUT 1, OUT 2, OUT3).
3. Connect to a new generation boiler
or other devices equipped with
BridgeNet® Bus connection:
Use
the
BridgeNet® Bus
connector by
connecting the cable and observing the
poles:
T with T, B with B.
4. Connect low voltage devices (e.g.
sensors) using connectors
IN 1, IN 2,
IN 3
in accordance with the selected
functional diagram.
5. Connect high voltage devices (e.g.
zone valves) using connectors
OUT
1, OUT 2, OUT 3
(in accordance with the selected
functional diagram) and connect the
power supply for the relay network
(where necessary).
6. Close the control unit cover.
7. Power up the appliance.
8. Observe the instructions for control
unit parameterisation.
