ARISTO. The tradition lives on.
Watchmaker Julius Epple founded the ARISTO company in
Pforzheim in 1907. The business traded under the name Julius
Epple, ARISTO Uhren- und Uhrgehäusefabrik for three gene-
rations. The firm Ernst Vollmer, founded in 1922, still manu-
facturers high-quality wrist straps today. In 1998, Helmut
Epple, the company founder’s grandson, found a successor in
Hansjörg Vollmer, who bought the rights to the trademark
and founded ARISTO Watch GmbH. The two firms Ernst
Vollmer and ARISTO Watch GmbH merged to form ARISTO
VOLLMER GMBH in 2005. Thus, every ARISTO product is a
high-quality brand-name product that draws on a century of
expertise in watchmaking!
