6. Malfunctions

When experiencing malfunctions with the material unwind device you may check the fol-

lowing possible causes. If the error cannot be diagnosed and remedied please call your
ARISTO service center.

Unwinding device

The motor runs continuously or not
at all

•

The light barrier does not respond.

Check whether the reflector is
covered.

The unwind device does not respond

•

Check the control electronics fuse
(underneath)

Unscrew the fuse holder and remove
the fuse.

Replace a defective fuse and re install
the fuse holder.

The unwind device does not respond

•

The actuation ring is not seated cor-
rectly in its groove preventing it from
activating the safety switch.

•

The actuation ring is missing from the
shaft (bearing).
