Switching on the VACUUM

•

In the main menu depress

VACUUM

BLOW ON

The vacuum pump switches to operating mode BLOW (

), the material

detaches from the table top and can easily be moved.

Note

: Hold on to the material to prevent it from sliding off the table.

VACUUM

switching ON and OFF

Note

: The vacuum can also be switched on and off with the foot pedal.

The vacuum cannot be switched off during production mode.

FEED

Note:

With conveyor machines having a matrix vacuum table top all vac-

uum zones must be open while advancing the material in manual or auto-
matic mode.

Various parameters, i.e. speed, acceleration, and advance length can be
set in the submenu under FEED.

•

In the main menu press F2 VACUUM and select FEED with

F3.

PARAMETER

DYNAMIC

SPEED

advance speed can be set in increments of 0.1% of the max. machine
velocity (factory setting: 266)

ACCELERATION

can be set in increments of 1% of the max. acceleration
(factory setting: 1)

Note

: Increasing the acceleration can cause slip between the suction

cups and the material.
