INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before filling the kettle, always make sure that it has been unplugged.
- Open the lid (2) by pressing down on the release device (1) (Fig. 1). The lid will
open automatically.
- Fill the kettle with water as required through the lid opening. The level is visible
through the gauge (5).
CAUTION
: Do not waste water; only boil the amount you need.
CAUTION:
For a better quality of hot drink, you should always use fresh water.
- Close the lid (2) pressing it until it clicks into place and make sure that it is tightly
closed.
- Place the kettle on the electric base (6) and insert the plug into the mains socket.
- Press the lever switch (3) (Fig. 2) down to switch on the kettle. The indicator light
on the lever will switch on.
- When the water has reached boiling point, the lever switch (3) will automatically
return to its initial position and the indicator light will switch off. The kettle is now
ready to be used again.
CAUTION
: Lift the kettle off the electric base (6) before pouring any water into the
cups.
CAUTION
: If the kettle is switched on when there is insufficient water inside, it will
switch off again automatically. However, in the interests of preventing any risks, never
operate the kettle when it is empty.
CAUTION
: Empty out any water left in the kettle after each use.
- The kettle is fitted with an anti-scale filter (4) to trap lime scale particles.
- If you notice any droplets of water under the kettle, do not worry: these are merely
condensation.
