22 The controls on the handgrip of the hose are battery operated and therefore, when replacing the
batteries, do not dispose of them with normal household waste. Batteries need to be disposed
of at the nearest Assistance Centre so that they can be separated and disposed of in special
containers, as required by laws concerning the safety of the environment and the recycling of
used materials. Never throw batteries into fire.
23 If the batteries in the handgrip of the hose should leak, do not use the controls on the handgrip;
take this attachment to your nearest Assistance Centre so that the batteries can be replaced.
24 The controls on the handgrip of the hose are battery operated and therefore, at the end of the
useful life of this attachment, do not dispose of it together with normal household waste. The
attachment can be taken to a special differentiated waste collection centre, as made available
by your local council, or it can be taken to one of the dealers who offer this service. Separate

25 To unplug the appliance, grip the plug and remove it directly from the power socket. Never pull
the power cord to unplug the appliance.
26 Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appliance itself is faulty;
in this case, take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.
27 To prevent any risks, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
Technical Assistance Service or a similarly qualified person.
