Clear a Clogged Discharge Chute
1. Stop engine and wait for all moving parts
to stop and for hot parts to cool.
2. Use a tool to clear the clog. See
STOP THE ENGINE
1. Operate the auger momentarily to
remove loose or melting snow from unit to
help prevent moving parts from freezing.
2. Release auger control lever.
3. Push engine switch to off position.
4. Turn fuel valve to the off position.
TRANSPORTING UNIT
1. Stop engine and wait for all moving parts
to stop and for hot parts to cool.
NOTICE:
Use extra care when loading or
unloading onto truck or trailer. DO NOT lift
using discharge chute handle.
2. Secure unit chassis to transport vehicle.
NOTICE:
Never secure unit from rods or
linkages that could be damaged.
FOR BEST PERFORMANCE
• For complete snow removal, walk slowly
and slightly overlap each path previously
taken.
• Position discharge chute downwind when
possible.
• Do not allow unit to ingest gravel and rocks.
Push handlebar down slightly over loose
surfaces to avoid ingesting debris.
• Inspect auger before each use and remove
any accumulation / debris.
• Check oil level before each use.
• Clean unit after each use. See
WARNING:
NEVER use your
hand to clean out discharge chute.
