Sharpen or replace mower blades. Refer

Mowing speed is too fast.
Drive slower when cutting grass.
Belt tension or condition is poor. Replace mower belts. Refer to your unit’s
Service Manual.
Cutting height is too low.
Do not set height of cut too low. For very
tall grass, mow twice.
Blades do not
stop within 5
seconds.
Clutch brake plates worn.
Reverse clutch brake plates. If clutch
brake plates have already been reversed,
replace clutch. Refer to your unit’s Service
Manual.
