13. Reattach cable spring to clutch actuating lever. See
Figure 6.
14. Gradually release spring tension until pry bar is
loose and can be removed.
15. Install center bolt and washers. Torque bolt to 55
lbf-ft (75 N•m). See Figure 5.
16. Reinstall front lock nut on BBC engagement cable.
Pull on the cable to allow only a slight amount of
slack and hand tighten front adjustment nut against
the cable bracket. Tighten the rear adjustment nut.
See Figure 14.
17. Replace blade and two bolts on blade brake clutch.
Torque bolts to 38 lbf-ft (52 N•m).
18. Connect the wheel drive cable spring to the
transmission bracket.
19. Adjust wheel drive cable (see Adjust Wheel Drive
Control on page 8).
20. Connect spark plug wire.
