4. Remove blade and blade adapter from the 

crankshaft.

5. Remove two tapping screws retaining drive pulley 

guide. Remove guide, pulley and key.

IMPORTANT: 

Discard two tapping screws, drive pulley 

guide, pulley and key.

6. Remove belt channel guides. Discard screws.

7. Pull belt over end of crankshaft to allow belt to slide 

out through belt channel.

8. Rotate transmission backward to remove hardware, 

then adjust to loosen belt.

9. Remove belt and pull through the belt channel. See 

Figure 3.
