The following is a general description of the R-

W Level Control Application:

This ON/OFF Level Control Valve is an automatic control valve, designed to be opened and closed according to the
position of a float valve which is equipped with a buoy that floats on the reservoir water.

When the reservoir water level drops below the pre-set level the vertical float [

5B

] drops with it. As the float reach

the lower stopper (

5

E) the float valve [

5

C] opens, water from the control chamber flows out through the control

tube [

7

] and the vent port of the float valve [

6

] causing the main valve to open.

When the reservoir water level rises back to the pre-set level the vertical float [

5B

] floats with it. As the float reach

the  upper  stopper  (

5

D)  the  float  valve  [

5

C]  closes,  water  from  the  upstream

2

-way  ball  valve  [

2

]  flows  into  the

control chamber causing the main valve to close.

2.

Mount the float valve [

5

] on the reservoir/tank at the desired level.

3.

Adjust the upper stopper (

5

D) to the required reservoir/ tank upper water level.

4.

Adjust the lower stopper (

5

E) to the required reservoir/ tank lower water level.

Very Important - when in manual Open or Close Modes, the Control

Valve cannot respond to changes in the reservoir water level!
