Protocol (TCP/IP)
listed,
you already have TCP/IP on your Windows 2000. Proceed to
the section titled “
Configuring TCP/IP in Windows® 2000
”.

If you do not see
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
, you do not have
TCP/IP on your Windows 2000. Proceed to the next section,
“
Installing TCP/IP in Windows® 2000
.”

From the
General
tab click
Install
.
Step 2.
In the
Select Network Component Type
window, select
Protocol
and click
Add
.
Step 3.
Choose
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
from the Network Protocol
list box, then click
OK
