4. Initial startup
Remove the remote control sockets and the remote control from their packaging.
Put the battery in the battery compartment on the front of the remote control.
Here you will also find the setting for the system code. This offers you the option
of running several remote switch sets at the same time and in the process pre
-
venting several sets from reacting to the same remote control.
Push switches 1-5 up or down and make a note of the configuration you have set.
If you use several sets and remote controls, you should use a different system
code for each remote control. Then close the battery compartment.
The next step is to configure the individual remote control sockets. There is a
closing flap on the back of each remote control socket marked “SYSTEM CODE”
and “unit code”. Use a screwdriver to remove the safety screw and open the flap.
