The engine won't start.
- Empty tank
- Engine shut down.
-Spark plug dirty, (carbon
residue on the electrodes)
Electrode gap too large.
- Carburettor, -nozzles dirty.
- Plug connection, ignition cable
defective
- No ignition spark.
- fill up the tank.
- Remove gas, start several
times if necessary, remove
spark plug, clean and dry.
- Clean plug, check heat value
of plug, replace spark plug if
necessary, adjust 0.6 - 0.7 mm.
- Clean, blow out carburettor.
- Renew.
- Check short-circuit button,
check cable, check ignition
module, replace if necessary,
adjust gap dimension (0.6 - 0.7
mm).
The engine runs too fast when
idling.
- Engine cold.
- Slowly warm up, possibly
close the choke a little.
The engine doesn't give
maximum power.
- Spark plug dirty, (carbon
residue on the electrodes)
Electrode gap too large.
- Carburettor, -nozzles dirty.
- Air filter dirty.
- Exhaust, cylinder exhaust
port.
- Sealing ring leaking in
crankcase.
- Cylinders, pistons/rings worn.
- Incorrect fuel mixture (too
much oil).
- Incorrect ignition.
- Clean plug, check heat value
of plug, replace spark plug if
necessary, adjust 0.6 - 0.7 mm.
- Clean, blow out carburettor.
- Clean.
- Dismantle and clean exhaust
pipe, remove carbon residues.
- Renew.
- Replace cylinder, piston or
piston rings, grind cylinder to
oversize and mount piston
oversize.
- Refuel according to
instructions.
- Adjust the gap dimension of
the ignition module (0.6 - 0.7
mm).
The engine does not stop.
- Candle light grey with signs of
annealing (melting beads).
- Coal residues in the
combustion chamber.
- Install a candle with a higher
heat value.
- Cleaning the cylinder head,
piston crown and cylinder
passages.
