To turn the appliance on put the plug in the socket, position the switch to “I” and
press the MODE button.
At this point the FAN function symbol will light up on the display and the appliance
will start to operate in cold air mode.
Pressing the MODE key in sequence selects the medium power heating mode, then
the maximum heating mode and then the oscillation. The symbol for the selected
function will light up on the display with each push.
When using the functions from the control panel remember that the oscillation only
works in maximum heating mode and that the temperature that appears on the
display is not adjustable.
By pressing the TIMER button you can choose between several predetermined
operating time periods for the appliance up to a maximum of 8 hours; the time will
appear on the display which will increase by 1 hour with each press.
If the TIMER is not set or if it is set to 0H, the appliance will operate continuously.
To turn off press the MODE button until the symbol on the display flashes; do
not turn off directly from switch 0-I because the appliance may be damaged.
The fan continues to run for a just few seconds to cool the appliance.
Using the remote control:
Press the red ON-OFF button.
Use the MODE button to select the heating mode, the OSCIL button to activate the
oscillation and direct the air flow as desired, and the TIMER button to select the
operating time.
In addition, the desired room temperature can only be set
with the remote control.
Press the + or – buttons to adjust the temperature from a minimum
of 10°C to a maximum of 49°C, viewable on the display.
The set temperature is displayed intermittently each time
the buttons
+ or –
are pressed. After a few seconds the room
temperature is displayed again.
Once the set temperature has been reached, the appliance stops
heating. It resumes operation when the room temperature drops
below the set temperature.
By pressing the CANCEL key the temperature goes back to the
ambient temperature present value at that moment.
Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well
before cleaning it.
This appliance does not require any special maintenance.
In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth.
Never use abrasives or chemical solvents.
Do not use very wet substances, liquids or cloths to prevent water from entering into
the appliance and irreparably damaging it.
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.
Battery Replacement.
In order to remove the cover of the battery seat, replace the battery with another
one featuring the same specifications, and replace the cap correctly.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of time, remove
the batteries. If the batteries are leaking, be careful not to touch the acid which has
leaked out.
