8. ASSEMBLING/DISASSEMBLING
8.1 Opening model CR500-X
Press the button with one hand and with the other hand pull out the inner section of the foo-
trest (fig.1) until the pressed button clicks into place (fig.2).

8.2 Closing model CR500-X
Press the button again with one hand and with the other hand press the inner section of the
footrest towards the other hand until the situation shown in fig.3 is reached.

Make sure that the pin is correctly locked into the hole before storing/removing the footrest.
8.3 CR503-X | CR505-X folding models
Open the footrests before use, ensuring that they are stable and fully touching both surfaces
they will be connecting. Fold them up once they have been used, so that they can be handled by
the handle in the centre of the lower hinge.
9. BEFORE USE
• Always check the state of wear of the mechanical parts involved in order to ensure that the
device can be used in complete safety for persons and property.
• Check the correct assembly of the device, paying particular attention to the correct locking
of the adjustment.
10. USING WARNINGS
WARNING!
THE OBSTACLE-RAMP LENGTH RATIO MUST NEVER BE LESS THAN 1:5 (e.g. for
30 cm obstacle, the ramp must be >= 150 cm)
• Use only the ramp for boarding/alighting wheelchairs.
• The ramp should be stepped on and off at low speed and without running.
• The ramp should be arranged in such a way that the curvature created at the end of the ramp
is in full contact with the support area.
• The ramp must be placed on a stable base;
