HART Wiring Diagrams
The wiring diagrams in this section show several typical connection arrangements. HART product
documentation and good technical judgment should also be used to determine the correct wiring arrangement
for a particular application.
2-Wire Transmitter
A large number of HART devices are 2-wire transmitters that require loop power. These may be
multidropped as shown in the diagram below, or a single device may be connected on a loop. If the analog
outputs are not used, the +24F and FGND terminals do not need to be connected.
