Do not use portable or stationary backup generating
equipment to charge the FUV. This may cause damage
to the FUV's charging system. Only charge the FUV from
utility supplied power.
Grounding Instructions
The charger must be grounded. If this product should
malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of
least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of
electric shock.
This charger features a cord that has an equipment
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug
must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is
properly installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances.
Improper connection of the charge cord ground may
cause electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician
if there is doubt as to whether the charge circuit is
properly grounded.
Charging Conditions
DO NOT charge the FUV in the following situations:

In electrical storms.
l
If the charging cable is damaged, rusted or
corroded.
l
If there is moisture on the charging cable connector
or charging cable socket, or your hands are wet.
l
When cleaning the FUV.
