and  are  therefore  marked  with  .  •  Supply  voltage  of  this  product  is  DC12V~24V;

never  connect  to  AC220V.  Leave  servicing  to  skilled  personnel  only.  Never  make  any

modifications on the unit not described in this instruction manual, otherwise you will risk

an electric shock. •  Connection of the power adapter must be made to a power supply

system fitted with efficient earthing (Class I appliance according to standard EN 60598-

1).  It  is,  moreover,  recommended  to  protect  the  supply  lines  of  the  units  from  indirect

contact  and/or  shorting  to  earth  by  using  appropriately  sized  residual  current  devices.

•  The connection to the main network of electric distribution must be carried out by a

qualified  electrical  installer.  Check  that  the  voltage  correspond  to  those  for  which  the

unit is designed as given on the electrical data label. •  This unit is not for home use, only

professional applications. •  Never use the fixture under the following conditions: - in place

subject to excessive humidity; - in places subject to vibrations or bumps; - in places with

a temperature of over 60°C or -20°C. •  Make certain that no inflammable liquids, water or

metal objects enter the fixture. • Do not dismantle or modify the fixture. •  All work must

manual, it may suffer damage and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other

operation may lead to dangers like short circuit, burns, electric shock, etc. •  Before starting

any maintenance work or cleaning the projector, cut off power from the main supply. • Do

not touch the power cables if your hands are wet. •   Keep any inflammable material at a

safe distance from the fixture. •  When cleaning unit, please do not use solvents such as
acetone or alcohol, since they may damage the of the unit outer finish

Installation

The LSDMX should be placed on a non-flammable flat surface in any orientation and fixed
by the two screws. There are two mounting holes on the housing.

Linking

After making the connection LSDMX supply (DC12V~ 24V), connect the unit with other

devices in the manner shown in diagram below. The LSDMX is equipped with two types of

connectors: 3-pole XLR and RJ45.

Functions and settings

LSDMX has a basic control panel consists of a DIP-switch (fig.2). Each individual switch has

a number (DIP switch [1] a [10]).

Automatic mode

To set the automatic mode is necessary to position the DIP-switch [10] to ”ON”. Other set

tings are shown in the following table:

•  DIP-switch [8] to “ON” shows the seven-color jumpy changing effect.

•  DIP-switch [9] to “ON” shows the seven-color gradual changing effect.

Every effect has different speeds from slow to fast (setting DIP-switch [1 - 7] to “ON”).

DMX mode

To set the DMX mode is necessary to position the DIP-switch [10] to ”OFF”.

As DMX interface, the unit has 3 poles XLR contacts and RJ45 connectors. The following

table shows the operating mode and DMX value.

The easiest way is to start from the highest possible place value and to add the smaller

values until the start address will result.
