Observe the front view port: there should be a red illumination and the magazine well
should be clear and free of any armatures or debris.
3.2 Inserting a magazine
1.
Always ensure the gun is powered up and pointed in a safe direction before inserting a
magazine. There is no slide or chamber on the EMG-02. The active round in the magazine
itself acts as the chambered round.
2.
The magazine is held in place by a self-locking detent. There is no magazine release – merely
insert the magazine into the magazine well in a single fluid motion.
