The external diameter of the cable/wire must be within the sealing area of the EMC cable
gland. The diameter of the cable shield must also be within the shield diameter of the EMC
cable gland.
Also note for wires and terminals for [DC+/-], [/-], and, if required, [BR+/-]

Observe the following specifications for the respective power wire.

3.14.2
Wire for [DC+/-], [/-], and, if required, [BR+/-]
[BR+/-] only for VECTOPOWER VP5000-DC/DC200-HL
•
The wires must be voltage-proof up to at least 800 V DC.
•
Single-core wires must be used.
•
The cable lugs must be suitable for the respective cross-section of the wire.
•
ARADEX AG recommends the use of cable lugs for switchgear connection. These have a
narrower flange and can be inserted through the EMC cable gland.
3.14.3
Cable for [ST1]
Specification of the cables for the crimp contacts for [ST1]
In addition to the general requirements for the cables, it is also important to note the following:
•
The number of conductors per cable depends on the number of occupied pins.
•
The size of the conductors depends on the size of the respective crimp contacts.
•
The crimp contacts are supplied with the mating connector. The cable is not included in the
scope of delivery.
