The external flexible cables of this unit cannot be replaced;
if the cable is damaged, the part should be replaced.

Increase the water level in
the skimmer body using the
Water Level Adjuster Knob.
If your skimmer is new or if you have recently cleaned the skimmer thoroughly, it is likely that
you will need to run in the skimmer. See “Running In” on page 8.
If the aquarium is only recently set up, it may be that there is little waste to collect. The skimmer
should begin collecting waste as the aquarium matures.
Increase the air volume in the
skimmer by adjusting the Air
Adjustment Screw.

Check that there is sufficient
water flow. If not, the pump
assembly may need to be
cleaned.

If you are using the Collection
Cup Drain to drain skimmate
into a bottle, remove the cup
and hose. Flush them both
out carefully, paying particular
attention to the drain.
If the Collection Cup is rapidly
filling with almost clear liquid,
reduce the water level in the
skimmer.
