Calibrating the Water Temperature

1. 

Hold down the “Up” and “Down” arrows for approximately 10 seconds

2. 

Unit will display “ F – C “ , this is the calibration for Fahrenheit or Celsius

3. 

Press the  “Hand” button until it reads the “ tSC “ on the display

4. 

Press the “ Up” or “Down” Arrow and the display should read a “0”

5. 

Calibrate up or down using the arrows depending on the difference in display temperature versus 

actual water temperature. Example: If the actual water temp. is 85 degrees but the unit is reading 
80 degrees, the difference is + 5, so adjust the “ 0 “ so it reads “ 5 “.

6. 

Once the calibration is made wait 10 seconds for the display to time out and go back to the normal 

display. The unit should now display the correct water temperature.

How To Adjust the DeadBand or “db” ( amount of temperature the unit will stay off)

1. 

Hold down the “Up” and “Down” arrows for approximately 10 seconds

2. 

Unit will display “ F – C “ , this is the calibration for Fahrenheit or Celsius

3. 

Press the  “Hand” button until it reads the “ db “ on the display

4. 

Press the “ Up” Arrow and the display should read a “0” or higher

5. 

Press the “Up” Arrow until the desired deadband is reached 

6. 

Once the selection is made wait 10 seconds for the display to time out and go back to the normal 

display.

How to the Adjust the DEF ( defrost mode ) between “ AIr” ( air defrost) and “rEC” (reversing 

valve defrost)

1. 

Hold down the “Up” and “Down” arrows for approximately 10 seconds

2. 

Unit will display “ F – C “ , this is the calibration for Fahrenheit or Celsius

3. 

Press the  “Hand” button until it reads the “ DEF “ on the display

4. 

Press the “ Up” Arrow and the display should read “AIr” ( air defrost )

5. 

If the heat pump is a Heat/Cool model you may select the unit to defrost using the reversing valve. 

Press the “down” arrow and the display should read “rEC” for ( reversing valve defrost)

6. 

Once the selection is made wait 10 seconds for the display to time out and go back to the normal 

display.

How to By-pass the heat pump’s 5 minute delay

1. 

Hold down the “Up” and “Down” arrows for approximately 10 seconds

2. 

Unit will display “ F – C “ , this is the calibration for Fahrenheit or Celsius

3. 

Press the  “Hand” button until it reads the “ DEL “ on the display

4. 

Press the “ Up” Arrow and the display should read “00” and the Fan motor will start

5. 

Press the “Up” arrow again and the display should read “01” and the compressor will start

6. 

Once the selection is made wait 10 seconds for the display to time out and go back to the normal 

display.
