3) When registering the fingerprint, the registered finger must completely cover the fingerprint 
sensor in order to increase the fingerprint recognition rate. 
4) The fingerprint registration must be completed before using the USB memory. Carefully follow 
the user manual instruction. 
5) This device can record up to 3 different fingerprints and save them in an order 
6) If the authentication fails for 5 consecutive times after the fingerprint registration, the green 
LED and the red LED flash alternately. In this case, you have to disconnect and reconnect the USB 
memory. 

7) User data deletion 

Having presented a total of 15 unregistered fingerprints, all the data is erased. (Existing data 
cannot be recovered by the manufacturer and we shall not be liable for the deleted data.) 

8) If you connect the USB memory directly to the computer without using the extension cable, 
depending on the computer’s USB terminal location, plug it conveniently as the fingerprint sensor 
can be located either on the front or the back side. 
9) Be sure to click the ‘Safely Remove Hardware and Remove Media’ button to eject this device 
from the computer. Removing this device without clicking the button may result in data loss. 
 

5. How to register / reset your fingerprint 
 

-Connect the USB memory to the USB terminal of the computer directly or connect via extension 
cable.

First fingerprint registration 

 

Green LED On> Place the finger to the direction you wish to register on the sensor. (Please let the 
fingerprint completely cover the sensor.) 
When the fingerprint is recognized, the green LED flashes 2 times and vibrates 1 time. Then lift off 
your finger.

- When registering the fingerprint, the sensor must be completely covered with fingerprint in order 
to increase the recognition rate. 
- For fingerprint registration, please register three kinds of fingerprints at once* 

(*This device can record up to 3 different fingerprints and save them in order. These 3 fingerprints are 
recorded by scanning each fingerprint 4 times in different directions.) 

- If the fingerprint registration exceeds the fingerprint recognition waiting time(about 40seconds), 

or if the USB memory is connected to the computer again, the registration will restart from the 
first fingerprint.
