A number of precautions are necessary
to keep the vehicle in good condition dur-
ing prolonged periods out of use. Also,
carry out general maintenance and
checks before garaging the vehicle as
one can forget to do so afterwards.
Proceed as follows:
•
Remove the battery.
•
Wash and dry the vehicle.
•
Polish the painted surfaces.
•
Inflate the tyres.
•
Store the scooter in an unhea-
ted, dry location, out of direct
sunlight and with minimal tem-
perature variations.
•
Wrap and tie a plastic bag
around the muffler exhaust end
to keep moisture out.
NOTE
PLACE A SUITABLE SUPPORT UN-
DER THE VEHICLE TO KEEP BOTH
WHEELS OFF THE GROUND.
Men moet enkele voorzorgsmaatregelen
treffen om de effecten van het niet ge-
bruiken van het voertuig tegen te gaan.
Bovendien moet men de herstellingen en
de algemene controle vóór het opbergen
uitvoeren, anders kan men vergeten om
dit vervolgens uit te voeren.
Handel als volgt:
•
Verwijder de accu.
•
Was en droog het voertuig.
•
Breng was aan op de gelakte
oppervlakken.
•
Blaas de banden op.
•
Plaats het voertuig in een niet
verwarmd lokaal, zonder voch-
tigheid, beschermd tegen zon-
nestralen, en waar temperatuur-
verschillen miniem zijn.
•
Plaats een plastic zakje op de
uitlaat en bind dit vast, zodat er
geen vochtigheid in kan komen.

PLAATS HET VOERTUIG ZODANIG
DAT BEIDE BANDEN VAN DE GROND
ZIJN, DOOR GEBRUIK TE MAKEN
VAN EEN DAARVOOR BESTEMDE
STEUN.
•
Place the vehicle on its front (op-
tional) and rear (optional) serv-
ice stands.
•
Cover the vehicle. Do not use
plastic or waterproof materials.
•
Plaats het voertuig op de speci-
ale voorste standaard (optio-
neel) en op de achterste stan-
daard (optioneel).
