AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
To check the working state of the air temperature
sensor, proceed as follows:
•
Disconnect the two-way connector (1).
•
Check the sensor in an environment with a con-
trolled temperature of 68
°
F (20
°
C).
•
Use an ohmmeter (scale 0-20 k
Ω
) to measure
electrical resistance between the terminals of the
connector (1).
Correct value: 12.200 k

If the air temperature sensor is operating correctly,
check the dashboard:
•
Apply a resistance of 12.4 k
Ω
between the sensor
terminals (cabling side).
•
If the dashboard is operating correctly, it should
show a temperature of 68
