Connect the coupling to the top of the cooker hood, and then 

connect a 125 mm ducting hose to the coupling (please note that 
the ducting hose is not supplied with the appliance).

The other end of the ducting hose should be connected to your 
discharge outlet that is suitable for cooking vapours. It should 
have a cross section of at least 150 cm².

The maximum distance between the coupling and your discharge 
outlet should be 3 metres, with one 90 degree bend.
