Installation

The Discovery ASD-1 is provided with the following components:

l

1 detector enclosure fitted with Discovery Optical point detector and Mini Switch Monitor

l

1 corner stud key

l

1 ferrite core

l

1 mounting template

l

1 product guide

Check all components for damage and refer any concerns to your authorized representative.

It is necessary to procure screws and inserts appropriate for the installation location.

2.1

Baffles

It is necessary to fit baffles to the Discovery ASD-1 system to ensure that the samples airflow is directed
towards the point detector. The baffle is shaped to match the point detector and simply clips into position in
the slots provided in the transparent lid.
