Connecting to a TV
NOTICE
• It will be helpful to also refer to the manual of the connected TV.
• Turn off the power and unplug both units before setting up any connections.
• The playback picture will be distorted, if you do not connect the DVD video player directly to your TV because DVD video discs
are protected by Macrovision.
• Therefore, if you connect the DVD video player to a video cassette recorder (VCR), or TV/VCR combination, the playback picture
will be distorted.

Setting up your player
Set-up for Analog output:
Step 1: After you have connected the input and output cables, turn on your TV and player.
Step 2: Press the Set-up button on your remote control.
Step 3: Select General Set-up by pressing the Enter button on your remote.
Step 4: Using the arrow keys, highlight the Audio out selection.
Step 5: Using the Right Arrow Key, highlight the Analog selection and select by pressing the Enter
Key on your remote control.
Step 6: Exit the menu by pressing the Set-up button.
Note: For S-Video set up, follow Steps 1-4 above. Highlight Set Video Output and S-Video.

Connect the DVD video player with the S Video cable, if the
TV has an S video input. Do not connect the yellow video
cable if you are using the S Video cable.
