Prepare for installation using the following requirements.
Before you install an I
NTELLA
F
LEX
XR chassis, perform the following tasks:
• Plan how to route all fiber-optic, power, and Ethernet cables.
• Acquire any cables you need for the installation.
• Decide which software interface, if any, you plan to use to set up and control the
chassis.
• If you do not plan to configure the chassis over a network, locate a laptop or desktop
computer that you can connect to the chassis for configuration.

or equivalent (such as a data center), and must be installed and maintained by
qualified technicians.
