9 Maintenance and Repair
The DHS 1100 is maintenance-free.
9.1 Warranty
Following parts are generally excluded from the
warranty (wear and tear parts)

:
• Filters
• Fuses
• Hoses
• Lubricants
• O-Rings
• Parts of spare part kits
• Seals and gaskets
• Domes
• Sample holders, sample plates
Additionally excluded from warranty is:
• Deformation or breakage of chamber parts
caused by a mechanical shock during handling.
• Any damage caused by dropping the instru-
ment.
• Any damage caused by chemical reactions of
instrument components with the sample mate-
rial or operating gases other than specified.
• Any damage caused by disregarding of instruc-
tions or specifications in the documentation.
9.2 Repair Performed by an Authorized
Anton Paar Representative
In case your instrument needs repair, contact your
local Anton Paar representative, who will take care
of the necessary steps. If your instrument needs to
be returned, request an RMA (Return Material Au-
thorization Number). It must not be sent without the
RMA and the filled “Safety Declaration for Instru-
ment Repairs”. Please make sure it is cleaned be-
fore return.
