FIG. 4
8. Put the speed control in the box fitting
and fasten it with the screws.
To ensure normal operation as intended the
speed control must be regulated for minimal
rotation speed:
1. Turn the dial anticlockwise while the
control is in switched on mode (without
the dial clicking and switching off).
2. Connect the power.
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver with
an insulated handle to turn the
potentiometer (8) until a minimal
rotation speed is achieved.
4. Turn the dial anticlockwise to the off
position (so that a clicking noise is heard).
Wait for the rotation of the fan to stop.
5. Turn the dial to minimal fan speed and
it is now adjusted for a stable minimal
rotation speed.
6. Fit the frame and tighten the nut.
7. Fit the dial.
NOTE:
The speed control must not be used if the minimal rotation speed is not set correctly. The fan can
be damaged if the minimal rotation speed is not correct.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The speed control should work immediately after it has been connected to the mains.
Carry out troubleshooting according to the table if the speed control does not work.
