You can program the following module type codeswhich have special
releasing functionsinto the control panel.
Releasing zone initiating devices include the following:
FDX intelligent heat detectors;
SDX or CPX intelligent smoke detectors; or
Conventional detection devices listed for the purpose and connected to
MMX modules.
You can use multiple zone initiating devices for the same releasing hazard.
Do so by mapping zone initiating devices to the same releasing zone.
Factory Mutual and certain Local Authorities Having Jurisdiction require
using redundant wiring (NFPA 72 Style 6 or Style D) for initiating devices in
releasing applications.
