Appendix A: Releasing Applications
You can use the IQ-396X as a control panel for agent release or preaction/
deluge control applications. When used with compatible, UL listed actuating
and initiating devices (refer to the Device Compatibility Document), the
IQ-396X system meets the requirements of the following NFPA standards:

The control panel includes ten software zones that you can use to control
releasing functions. Releasing zones R0-R9reserved for special releasing
functionsallow up to ten release operations. Each releasing zone operates
independently, and is fully programmable. During Read Status or Special
Zone (SPL Zone) programming for zones R0-R9, the control panel displays
the following screen:
