OPERATION
Connect the POWERLINE EASY to the USB power adapter using the cable
included in the delivery. Connect the Micro USB plug of the cable to
the POWERLINE EASY (1.) and the USB plug to the USB power adapter
(2.). Then connect the power adapter to the mains. The LED will light up
briefly (first red, then green) to indicate a ready status of the charger.
The POWERLINE EASY has a multi-contact system which eliminates the
time-consuming adjustment of the pins.
For charging the battery pack pull back the sliding cover and insert
the battery pack against the guide rail on the right side as shown in
the image. Press the battery pack against the contact pins in order
to establish a connection. The charger will automatically choose the
right polarity so connection can be made either way round. Once the
connection has been verified the LED will light red and the charging
process will start automatically. If the LED does not light up, please
turn the battery pack 180 degrees and check whether the battery is
then connected and charging. It could happen that some battery packs
still do not connect even after having been turned around. In this case,
please move the battery pack step by step to the left until it is connec-
ted and the LED lights red.
When the charging process has started, clamp the battery with the
sliding cover to hold it in place. In this way the connection is not lost
during the charging process. After charging is complete the green LED is
constantly on. If the red LED is flashing over a longer period the battery
pack may be faulty and need replacing.
In addition to an overvoltage protection the POWERLINE EASY has an in-
tegrated safety timer which terminates the charging procedure after 7
hours for batteries with 3.7V and after 10 hours for batteries with 7.4V.
COMPATIBILITY
Due to the variety of different battery packs it is unfortunately not
possible to charge every battery pack with this charger.
The following battery packs cannot be charged due to the distance, size
and design of the contacts (as at December 2013):
