Check from underneath to see that none of the blade holders are bent sideways. If any of the
blades are at the wrong angle, you can very carefully bend the blade holder sideways to the correct
position.
Check with a ruler that the tips of all the blades are at an
equal distance from the ceiling. If any of the blades
deviate, you can very carefully bend the blade holder up
or down to the correct position.
If this does not solve the problem, the appliance may need dynamically balancing according to the
instructions below.
1.
Start the appliance and adjust to the speed (normally top speed) that gives the most irregular
motion.
2.
Switch off the fan, wait until all the moving parts have completely stopped and place a balancing
clip on the back edge of one of the blades, half way between the base and the tip.
3.
Start the appliance and see if it rotates more evenly or more unevenly. Switch off the appliance,
move the balancing clip to the next blade, and try again. Repeat this procedure for all the blades
and not which positioning gives the best results.
4.
Switch off the appliance, wait until all the moving parts have completely stopped, and fit the clip in
the position that gave the best result. Try putting the balancing clip at different positions along the
blade to find to the position that gives the best result.
5.
Note the position of the clip, remove the clip and fit a balancing weight over the blade at the place
where the clip was.
WARNING:
If the clip is not secured properly on the blade when the appliance is rotating it can come
loose and cause personal injury and/or material damage.
