TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Action
Pilot flame will not light. Closed gas valve. Open the gas valve.
Gas cylinder empty. Replace with a full gas cylinder.
Clogged valve. Clean or replace the valve.
Air in the gas system. Bleed all lines.
Loose connections. Check all connections.
Pilot flame lights but goes out. Dirt around the pilot burner. Clean.
Loose connections. Tighten the connections.
Damaged thermo element. Replace thermo element.
Leaking gas line. Check the connections.
Low fuel pressure. Gas cylinder empty. Replace with a full gas
cylinder.
The burner will not light. Low pressure. Gas cylinder empty. Replace with a full gas
cylinder.
Clogged valve. Remove and clean.
The knob is not in the ON position. Turn the knob to ON position.
Damaged thermo element. Replace thermo element.
Bent pilot burner unit. Adjust the pilot burner unit.
Unsuitable position for gas heater. Place in the correct position and try again.
NOTE:
Never attempt to dismantle or repair the gas heater yourself. Contact a qualified service technician if you have a problem.
