VectorStar Multiport VNA System Overview
An overall block diagram of the VectorStar Multiport VNA system is shown in
The Anritsu MN469xC Series Multiport Test Set provides multiple test port capabilities for the Anritsu
VectorStar MS464xB/MS464xA Series Vector Network Analyzer.
The MN469xC Series Test Set contains a switch matrix and switch matrix controller that facilitates multiple
test port connections to the device under test. The test set is controlled by the connected VectorStar VNA
(except for power on/off) via the IEEE-488 General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB).
The MN469xC Series Test Sets only contribute loss to the source and test paths, and uncorrected (raw) port
directivity and match. Therefore, system performance is specified when connected to a base 2-port VectorStar
VNA with option 51 (Direct Access Loops). If additional options are added to the base VectorStar VNA that
affect its port performance, those effects must also be added to these system specifications. Specifically, adding
option 6x, Active Measurement Suites will affect available test port power and dynamic range.
