Smoke or an odour occurs

Smoke or an odour may occur when using this appliance for the first

time. This will eventually disappear.

There is a clicking noise and the

heater turns on and off during

cooking.

●This is not a malfunction. It is the sound of the heater regulating

temperature.

The appliance can be used as-is.

Steam comes out of the door.

●Steam from the boiler or white vapor from the moisture in the bread may

come out of the door during cooking.

This is normal. However, keep hands and face away from steam as it is

very hot.

IMPORTANT! Do not direct steam towards blinds, overhead cabinets,

walls etc, that can get damaged due to steam and heat.

The time displayed on the timer

dial differs from actual cooking

time.

●In the last minute of the cooking time, the temperature will increase to

colour the bread. The cooking time preceding the last minute may vary as

the appliance monitors the temperature inside the oven and adjusts the

heating time to achieve the best results. The time may vary depending on

room temperature, humidity and other factors that can affect the

appliance's internal temperature. This is not a malfunction.

The appliance can be used as-is.

No heating

●Is the power plug disconnected from the outlet?

Insert the power plug securely into the power outlet.

●Is the timer set?

Set the time by turning the time knob.

The door will not close

●Are the toasting rack, toasting rack frame, water cup and crumb tray

properly attached?

Open the door and place the toasting rack on the toasting rack frame

inside the appliance.

When attaching the rack, make sure the four “feet” match the

corresponding locations on the frame.

When water is added, it makes a

sizzling sound.

This happens if the boiler tray is hot (such as after continuous cooking).

When water is added, it will make a sound as it evaporates inside the tray,

but this does not affect the cooking. The amount of water that evaporates

is limited so there is no need to add water even after the sizzling sound.
