9.  Fill  only  water  in  the appliance.  Descaler,  perfume,  detergent  etc. should  not 

be used with this appliance. Filling the water tank with anything other than just 
water can cause damage to the hand held steamer. 

10. Filling the water:  

1)  Unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket. 
2)  Press the steam button to release any residual pressure.  
3)  Let the appliance cool down. 
4)  Press the steam button again to release any residual pressure.  
5)  Release the safety lid and remove it after about 5 minutes.  

11. Warning! The appliance heats up when operating, therefore do not touch the 

hot surface; touch only the handle or the steam release button. Always let the 
appliance cool down when removing or attaching any accessories.  

12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its 

service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. 

13. Before  each  cleaning/maintenance  unplug  the  appliance  from  the  mains 

supply socket and let it cool down sufficiently.  

14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with 

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and 
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning 
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety, children should 
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 

15. The liquid or steam must not be directed towards equipment containing 

electrical components, such as the interior of ovens.  

16. The filling safety lid (water fill cap) must not be opened during use. 
17.  DO NOT use near sinks, baths or showers containing water or running water. 
18. DO NOT leave the appliance unattended when in use, hot or pressurised. 

Take care that children cannot touch the appliance when the appliance is hot 
and/or pressurised and make sure they cannot pull on the mains cord. 

19. DO NOT use the appliance if it has been dropped or any part of the appliance 

(including cord and plug) has been damaged. The hand held steamer must be 
inspected and/or repaired prior to use by a qualified electrical person. 

20. DO NOT operate the appliance underneath or near flammable or combustible 

materials (e.g. curtains, peterol, fuels, etc,). 

 

 

Electrical wiring: 

The  hand  held  steamer  is  equipped  with  a  mains  power  cable  with  a  ground  wire, 
therefore it must be connected to a mains power socket with the ground connection. 
If unsure please consult an electrician.  
Never try to modify or change the mains plug of the appliance.  
Make  sure  that  the  supply  voltage  corresponds  to the  voltage marked  on  the  rating
