 14. LIFTING OF PRESSER FEET 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
 
 
 

Presser feet can be lifted electro-pneumatically by actuating the pedal 2 or by pressing knee 
lever 1.  

 
Mechanic lifting of presser feet (knee lever) 

In order to move material, correcting its position, press the knee lever to the right. 
Presser feet will remain lifted all the time when knee lever 1 is pressed.  

 

Electropneumatic lifting of presser feet (pedal) 

Press the pedal 2 halfway back. 
The presser feet will remain lifted with the machine at a halt. 

 

Press the pedal 2 all the way back. 
The thread trimmer will be actuated and presser feet will be lifted.
