TO ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE SOUND
TO TEST THE SOUND:
Ask someone to speak into
the Camera or place the unit
near a radio to ensure that
sound is being picked up.

button to access
main menu.

Sound
icon.

Use the up and down arrows to
activate
or
deactivate
the sound.

Press
Menu/Select
button to confirm.
IF YOU HEAR NO SOUND:
• Check that both units are powered
ON
.
• Check that both units are plugged into
functioning electrical outlets.
• Check the batteries in both units
(replace or recharge them if necessary).
• Bring the Parent Unit closer to the Camera.
IMPORTANT
To avoid feedback (whistling), keep
both units at least 3 meters apart.
Press the down arrow
for 2 seconds to mute
sound.
Mute
icon will
flash in Info Bar. Press
again for 2 seconds
to reactivate sound.
PUT IN SILENT/MUTE MODE
ADJUST SOUND LEVEL
Increase volume
(Up arrow)
Lower volume
(Down arrow)
4.2 - BATTERY
HOW TO CHECK THE BATTERY:
Unplug the adapter from the
Parent Unit and check the
battery level indicator.

HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY IN THE PARENT UNIT:
Leave the Parent Unit plugged in
to fully charge the unit. Although
the battery at 1/3 capacity works
normally, we recommend that you
fully recharge it.
PARENT UNIT BATTERY ALERT
• Alert activates when the battery needs to be
recharged.
• Parent Unit will emit a beep sound every
15 seconds.
• Empty
icon will show on LCD screen.
