The  230volt version requires a 13Amp  supply  and  is fitted with 
a 13Amp  1363a plug. 

  

          EXTENSION  LEADS

          If an extension lead is used, it must  be of the correct size   

and  length  to avoid voltage drop. 

Cables must  be fully  uncoiled  when in use, coiled or incorrectly 
installed  extension  leads can overheat and cause a fire hazard. 

 
Earth fans (class 1) 
Plugs  must  be wired to the following  code 
Brown - Live 
Blue 

– Neutral 

Green/Yellow 

– Earth 

 

Set up & operation 

Set the unit up  on a firm, level surface and  do not site the unit 
close to any personnel  wearing contact lenses, sensitive to any 
dust movement,  hay fever sufferers etc. This unit moves air 
only, but  minute  particles of dust / pollen  etc. will  also be 
moved,  especially on highest  fan setting, so careful location 
and  use of speed control will require  careful consideration. 
 
GENERAL  SAFETY  CHECK 
 
Check the cable to ensure there are no breaks, or joints.  
Check the plug  to ensure it is not damaged  in any way. 
 
USER  OPERATION 
 
As  with  all  electrical  equipment  care  should  be  exercised  when 
using  the  fan.  Familiarity  with  its  controls  and  functions  will 
enable  the user to operate it safely. 
 

1) Ensure  that  there  is  a  clear  air  path  both  in  front,  and 

behind  the unit
