Refer to Figure 27. Assemble 20 right- and left-hand back-to-back strut assembly pairs
Type 78082 and 78083 as shown.
•
Use 1/2 x 1-1/2 in (38 mm) bolts, spacers, lock washers and nuts. Tighten strut spacer
bolt.

Refer to Figure 28. From inside of drum assembly, attach end of back-to-back strut
assembly (slanted angles) to lower ring on drum assembly.
•
Use 1/2 x 4-1/2 in (114 mm) bolts, special washers, lock washers and nuts. Tighten
until snug.
Note:
Special washers must be installed between back-to-back strut and lower ring of drum.
