CORDED OPERATION
If the clipper powers OFF in the middle of a clipping job, the adapter cord can be
attached to continue use in corded operation. When the clipper is running with the
adapter cord attached, the green light will remain ON if the battery is not fully
charged. The clipper will not charge while in use with the cord attached. After using
your Andis clipper, rewrap cord loosely and store in a safe place.
USING THE ATTACHMENT COMBS
(Some models do not have combs and sizes will vary by kit)
You can set the blades for a longer cut by using any of the attachment combs made
for your Andis clipper. The combs mount easily; simply slide the cutter blade teeth
into comb and slide the comb down. To remove, simply slide off (Figure H). These
attachment combs guide hair into the blades and give you precise control of hair
lengths. The length of trim is indicated on the attachment comb. Use the chart to find
the approximate lengths of cut. Different blade angles in relation to the skin, thickness
and texture of the hair will vary the cutting length.
CLIPPER BLADE ADJUSTMENT
Your Andis adjustable clipper blade set is easy to adjust. From coarse to fine cuts, all
that is needed is an easy change of the adjustment lever with your thumb. Lines on
the clipper indicate the five cutting positions. For the shortest cut, use your thumb to
align the lever with the shortest line on the clipper housing. To cut the least amount of
hair, align the lever with the longest line on the clipper housing (Figure I).
